BARBARIK - ULTRALIGHT RCWS < 55 Kg

Ai TURING TECHNOLOGIES

The Ultralight Remote Controlled Weapon System (URCWS) represents a significant evolution in the domain of military hardware, offering versatility and enhanced combat capabilities without direct human intervention. This weapon station can be mounted on various platforms such as on ground vehicles (both wheeled and tracked), naval vessels, and on top of the building, adapting seamlessly to the dynamic requirements of modern warfare. The system supports variety of armaments such as 7.62mm and 12.7mm machine guns, 40mm automatic grenade launchers as well as ATGM.

Barbarik - Ultralight RCWS

  • The system supports variety of armaments such as 7.62mm and 12.7mm machine guns, 40mm automatic grenade launchers as well as ATGM.
  • The flexibility of the URCWS is further highlighted by its ability to support dual weapon setups, which allow for combinations like a 12.7mm machine gun paired with a 7.62mm machine gun, or a 12.7mm machine gun alongside a 40mm automatic grenade launcher.
  • This capability enables a single platform to engage a variety of targets effectively, from personnel to lightly armored vehicles, enhancing both its strategic utility and battlefield effectiveness.

Ultralight Weapon System

  • These systems are designed with precision targeting and are often equipped with advanced sighting systems, thermal imagers, and laser rangefinders to ensure accuracy and reliability in various conditions.
  • Moreover, the use of RCWS minimizes the risk to personnel, as operators can control the system remotely, away from the direct line of fire.
  • This aspect of the technology not only increases the safety of military personnel but also extends the tactical options available to commanders in combat situations.

Modes Of Operation

Touch to AIM

Preregistered Targets

  • This is used in the case wherein we have already pre surveyed enemy firing points.
  • The sight is moved around these targets and the targets are preregistered with id’s.
  • Once preregistered, the targets can be engaged in record times like 6 targets in a minute.

Joystick operated mode

  • This is a standard mode wherein the target is seen, through crosshair and engaged.

Anti-Drone Mode (E-gearing)

  • For targets far away like drones and which needs tracking a separate stabilized sight is provided which tracks the target while the gun is e-geared to the stabilized sight.
  • Once tracking, the sight gives a predictive position for the cross hair based on the range table.
  • The cross hair of the sight on the servo-based weapon platformis now e-geared to the stab sight and will follow it.
  • Based on theconvenience of the firer the firing is carried out and this is done by man in loop.
